The V&S Railway owns and operates three different shortline railroads consisting of over 150 miles of track.
In Kansas the V&S Railway owns and operates the Medicine Lodge Line which extends from Medicine Lodge, KS to Attica, KS and traffics wall board and plaster, as well as the Hutchinson Line which switches salt, scrap metal and repaired cars.
The Towner Line, which operates in Colorado, extends from the N.A. Junction, CO to Towner, CO and traffics primarily wheat and barley.
